As you can see, this page is built for and around an SEO Contest. My intentions are to post a “How to win an SEO contest” type guide, but since my mind races all day and night you’ll most likely get my half-assed attempts. I guess in order for this to work, I need to write rule #1.

So, here it is.

Rule #1: Keep it Fun.

Reason: If it isn’t fun, the work can be long and hard and discouraging, especially if you don’t win. If you keep yourself entertained while massaging the search engines, then not only will you be actively engaged, you’ll also be more likely to create a “natural” (bad SEO pun, sorry) look and feel that will entertain readers and scrub the SE filters at the same time.

And for some reason, “Rock Lobster” just came into my head. What could be more fun than the B-52’s?
